It includes one public institution (BRGM), one academic partner (ISTerre, University of Grenoble) and one major industrial partner (EDF). BRGM and ISTerre are well-known actors, in France and abroad, for the quality of their applied and fundamental research on seismic risks. The industrial partner EDF is one of the world’s largest energy companies with installations in France and abroad. The consortium is complementary and balanced between scientific and industrial expertise. The consortium has all the expertise needed to achieve the ambitious and multi-disciplinary objectives of the project. The consortium members are actively involved in national research activities related to seismic hazard and risk assessment. All of the partners have recognized expertise in earthquake engineering and seismic risk assessment, necessary for a successful achievement of the project.
